There is a great need for something as simple as clean water in many areas of Asia. It broke my heart to hear of children and families getting very ill and dying of waterborne illnesses. The fact that clean water can change the lives of these families and bring about a better quality of life motivates me to pray and take action to help those across the world who are in great need!! This year it is my prayer and our goal to raise $1000 to buy a "Jesus Well" that can provide water for a whole community. We here in second grade at Westminster Christian Academy in Opelousas are so excited about this opportunity to help those in need. Please join us through fundraising and donations provide clean water to a people who now use the same water to drink, wash clothes, bathe, and use the bathroom in. Will you join us? We will be raising funds from Jan. - May 2014. Thank-you for your prayers and your help to purchase this clean water "Jesus" well!

Jesus Wells increase the health standards of a village, allowing for children to be nourished and animals to be watered. The wells you provide are located in the village or community, so women and children no longer have to walk hours to find water.
With one well you can save an entire village from waterborne illnesses.
Unlike the dirty water from stagnant ponds, streams or old shallow wells, this water is clean and creates an awareness of good hygiene, leading to fewer medical problems and healthier people.
