I have been involved with Gospel for Asia for a couple of years now and it is a fantastic program that makes great use of native missionaries who are better equipped to speak to and win the trust of their own local villagers. I have a great respect for them because they are willing to take risks that are beyond dangerous to get the message of the Gospel to those who have never heard it. Many in this land are born into the lowest level of the caste system and have spent their whole lives being told they are worth less than animals. Imagine the chance to show a child that he is NOT worthless but is PRICELESS to our Lord and Savior! Installing a well is the perfect opportunity for missionaries to share this wonderful news with those coming to the well for clean water. Most who live in this land are forced to drink contaminated water containing raw sewage and sludge. Having the gift of clean drinking water will sustain their physical bodies while they are also being told of the life giving water of Jesus. GFA also builds schools and are producing FIRST generation readers who learn the Scriptures and then share that at home, transforming whole families by leading them to the Love of Christ. Even though they are always at risk due to living in a region where Hinduism is the accepted religion, where GFA churches and schools are bombed almost every week and Pastors and Missionaries are killed frequently, still they stand firm in their new relationships with the Lord.

~Please note that NO money is collected by me, all donations made go directly to the GFA Jesus well fund~. The thing I love most about GFA is that 100% of all field donations go directly to the field, NOTHING is taken out for staffing or administration costs (that all comes from a different source), so whether someone donates $1 or $100, every penny will go toward constructing the well!!

Jesus Wells increase the health standards of a village, allowing for children to be nourished and animals to be watered. The wells you provide are located in the village or community, so women and children no longer have to walk hours to find water.
With one well you can save an entire village from waterborne illnesses.
Unlike the dirty water from stagnant ponds, streams or old shallow wells, this water is clean and creates an awareness of good hygiene, leading to fewer medical problems and healthier people.
