"Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 'for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in..." (Matthew 25:34-35)

So often we take for granted the blessing of fresh water. At the turn of a valve we quench our thirsts, wash our bodies, clean our clothes with no understanding of the difficulty many of our brethren endure to perform these same tasks. We buy water packaged in bottles and store them for later use, yet our brethren walk for miles and hours carrying heavy water containers to make sure they have what they need for the day. Lets make a better effort today to share what the Lord has mercifully blessed unto us. Help us build a Jesus Well where many will receive safe drinking water and experience the love of Christ through our combined efforts. This Jesus Well will show the people of that region that God loves and remembers them and will bring opportunity for His Gospel to be shared. Thank you for giving selflessly and for your prayers and support.

Jesus Wells increase the health standards of a village, allowing for children to be nourished and animals to be watered. The wells you provide are located in the village or community, so women and children no longer have to walk hours to find water.

With one well you can save an entire village from waterborne illnesses.

Unlike the dirty water from stagnant ponds, streams or old shallow wells, this water is clean and creates an awareness of good hygiene, leading to fewer medical problems and healthier people.

In the parable of the good Samaritan, a priest and a Levite bypass a man whom thieves have robbed and badly beat.  However, a Samaritan, having compassion for this nearly dead man, stopped and bandaged his wounds and took him to an inn where he cared for him.  And before departing, paid the innkeeper and told him that he'd repay any additional expenses upon his return.  A stranger, loving his neighbor as he loved himself.  Jesus commands us to "Go and do likewise."
