My husband and I have been actively involved with Gospel for Asia for about five years. We are part of their Southern California volunteer network and support native missionaries and children through their ministry. What we love most about Gospel for Asia is their passion and commitment to reach the most unreached areas of the world with the good news of Jesus Christ!
We have often participated in their Christmas gift catalogue campaign, but a Jesus Well always seemed out of reach for us financially. This year I decided that I would start my own campaign for multiple Jesus Wells and just see what the Lord might do! Maybe I am being ambitious, but I am starting with a goal of five (one didn't seem like enough). Gospel for Asia has their own goal of drilling 1,000 Jesus Wells in 2013. One Jesus Well can provide clean water for up to 5,000 people!
Once Jesus Wells are drilled in a village, there are many open doors for native missionaries to share the gospel with those who come to get clean water. Often the wells are located near a local church. Many villagers are so overcome by the love that others have shown in bringing them clean, safe water, that they are very open and responsive to the gospel. Many times, these are people that have never before heard of Jesus Christ!
Please join me in coming alongside missionaries already on the field serving by giving them an amazing tool to help reach lost souls...clean water! The Jesus Wells all bear this inscription: "Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life" (John 4:13-14). Many who come to the well want to know more about these words.
May many come to know the Fountain of Living Water, Jesus Christ, through these five new Jesus Wells! Amen! Thank you for partnering with native missionaries in Asia to reach the most unreached with the good news of a Savior who loves them and died to pay for their sins. You are blessing many with the greatest gift ever...eternal life! One day you will meet them in heaven and they will thank you themselves.

Jesus Wells increase the health standards of a village, allowing for children to be nourished and animals to be watered. The wells you provide are located in the village or community, so women and children no longer have to walk hours to find water.
With one well you can save an entire village from waterborne illnesses.
Unlike the dirty water from stagnant ponds, streams or old shallow wells, this water is clean and creates an awareness of good hygiene, leading to fewer medical problems and healthier people.
