Please team with the Hostetler family in raising $1,000 to build a village well in Asia (most likely an Indian village) where the lowest people of the caste system struggle daily to survive. We hope to raise the full amount by December 15.

Clean drinking water is vital for life. The poorest in India suffer needlessly because the only water available to them is usually contaminated. These lower caste people are usually not allowed to use public wells and they cannot afford to build their own as they struggle to survive with one meal per day. That is, when they can afford it.

Due to the caste system these men, women, and children are considered unworthy of even basic necessities for living. They do not receive help from the wealthy 5% of the country, nor from their government (because those in the higher castes largely make up the government).

A Jesus Well is usually built in the village near a GFA church or Bible college. These facilities are plain and often rudimentary, but they are beaming with the Gospel message. The well meets the most basic, physical needs of the villagers while the Gospel is shared and people learn their spiritual need for Jesus.
