Is it really more of a blessing to give than to receive, like Jesus said???

Of course! But most of us might readily admit that our lives are not always a very good reflection of that. So, in an effort to follow Christ's example, a few of us have come together to give to some of the people in greatest need...and provide a way for others to join us.

Around the world (especially in areas where people are separated by class), groups of people are labeled as "untouchables" and are not allowed to access or share local, life-sustaining resources. These people must daily walk for hours just to find a source of water, which is often dirty and full of bacteria. In many cases, they are forced to eat from trash dumps and areas that are used for bodily waste because they are not even allowed to beg for food or money in public.

Our goal is to raise $2800 so our partner organization (Gospel for Asia) can build two centrally located wells which will make clean water available to hundreds of men, women, and children.

Each well also displays a plaque with a reference to the living water that Christ provides, and is near a church or home of a missionary where people can receive Biblical guidance and prayer.

If just a few of us come together we can make a life- changing difference for people who so desperately need it. Better than that, we can make an eternal impact on people who have never even heard of Jesus or the love that God has for them.
