We are so blessed in the United States to have clean fresh running water. The World Water Assessment Program say that 70 percent of industrial wastes in developing countries are dumped into the water supply. Unsafe water kills 1.5 million people each year. Children are the most vulnerable as their young bodies are often too weak to fight off diarrhea, dysentery and other water-related killers. There are people all over this world who do not have the luxury of clean fresh water, and we are the Light of the world and are called to bless the least of these. Matthew 25: 35-40....."I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink..... "Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine you did for me." These Jesus Wells are visible signs of God's love and care. In addition, beside the Jesus Well there is an inscription that reads: Jesus said "Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst." (John 4:13-14). And because these Jesus Wells are located near churches and Bridge of Hope centers, pastors, missionaries and believers are more than happy to share the Gospel with all who come for clean water. You will have a key role bringing pure water, and Living Water through your gift. Today I want to thank you for your heart and concern for those in need in South Asia. About Jesus Wells

Jesus Wells increase the health standards of a village, allowing for children to be nourished and animals to be watered. The wells you provide are located in the village or community, so women and children no longer have to walk hours to find water.
With one well you can save an entire village from waterborne illnesses.
Unlike the dirty water from stagnant ponds, streams or old shallow wells, this water is clean and creates an awareness of good hygiene, leading to fewer medical problems and healthier people.
