This Christmas, I won't be home for the holidays. As I am studying in Istanbul, I have seen for the first time in my life what a country is like when the majority of people do not know the joy of Christmas. There aren't Christmas lights everywhere. The Christmas trees are scarce. And we even have class on Christmas day. BUT, more importantly than that, there is no joyful remembrance of Christ's birth among those who have not even heard the words of the Bible before. Istanbul is a very westernized city...how much more hopeless the rest of Asia must be! As I spend this Christmas in the Far East, far away from home and the comfort of traditions, please join with me in giving what we have in order to share the joy of Christmas with those in India. This Christmas bundle, which costs $645, will provide for material and spiritual needs of a family in India. These projects have already affected so many families (learn more at gfa.org). In the spirit of the true meaning of Christmas and the true life-filling joy that it brings, let's join together to share what we have been given with the world by blessing a family in India.
