The McIntosh Community Group is a small group that belongs to Bridge Community Church in Blackshear, Georgia. We became aware of the Jesus Wells Campaigns through a Gospel for Asia newsletter distributed periodically at Bridge. The stories about the women and young girls having to walk so far for water that is often contaminated gripped our hearts. It is such an honor to be allowed to help meet the need for pure, clean water for a village. What better way to spread the message of the love of Jesus than to bless a village with life-giving, fresh water?
The McIntosh Group would also like to challenge other small groups from Bridge to consider viewing the GfA website and joining our efforts to fund Jesus Wells!
About Jesus Wells
Read below to learn about where donations go.
Jesus Wells increase the health standards of a village, allowing for children to be nourished and animals to be watered. The wells you provide are located in the village or community, so women and children no longer have to walk hours to find water.
With one well you can save an entire village from waterborne illnesses.
Unlike the dirty water from stagnant ponds, streams or old shallow wells, this water is clean and creates an awareness of good hygiene, leading to fewer medical problems and healthier people.
