Our family has always had access to wonderfully clean, tasteless water. When we moved to Ohio this past year, our water was "undrinkable." (filled with chlorine and chemicals) We went to the store, a half mile away, to buy gallons of water until our water filtration system came in the mail. As we were complaining about how "hard" it was for us to have to go to the store for good drinking water, the Holy Spirit gently reminded us of the many families around the world that truly don't have access to good drinking water. Some of them have to walk for miles for dirty water that is shared with animals.
We also learned, in our home school, about at least 26 groups of people that don't have the Bible in their own language and the many others who have never heard of Jesus.
To help both groups of people, we decided to throw a "water party." We will be raising money at this party to help dig a well for a community who will then learn about Jesus through the missionaries nearby.

There will be a donation jar there. Have fun playing with water while we raise money for others to give them access to clean water! This event is for all ages!
