When I turned 40, I really wanted to do something crazy. But, of course, I never did....
I've just finished "7 The Experiment: Staging Your Own Mutiny Against Excess" by Jen Hatmaker. Through this Bible study & God's leading, I've realized how much stuff I have and how little most of the world has. And I take so much for granted....like walking to the fridge for a glass of clean, healthy water.
So here's my "crazy" idea for my 42nd birthday.... I'm pledging my birthday and raising money for a well in Asia. $1000 will pay for a well to serve an entire village. Please consider joining me in bringing water to those in need.

Jesus Wells increase the health standards of a village, allowing for children to be nourished and animals to be watered. The wells you provide are located in the village or community, so women and children no longer have to walk hours to find water.
With one well you can save an entire village from waterborne illnesses.
Unlike the dirty water from stagnant ponds, streams or old shallow wells, this water is clean and creates an awareness of good hygiene, leading to fewer medical problems and healthier people.
